Art Studio Update

As you know, the burst pipes over vacation have been repaired and classes are back to normal.  The art studio was affected by the water so we will be getting a new counter in the sink area and some new sheet rock on the wall.  Luckily our stored paper and book collection didn't get wet!  Until the studio is fixed art class will be held in the community room, being on a cart even for a short time was a challenge so we are all glad to have a home base!  We will need to be creative with our storage and material use (it is hard not to get messy!), but students are making the best of the change and the large carpeted area.  We will have fun rededicating the art studio to hard work and creativity when we can all move back in a few weeks time.

Castles and fun houses (complete with water slides)  were created in EK this week.
